Galeries Lafayette never ceases to seduce us with their new workshops. After having tested the wine and cheese tasting, it is to other French specialties that we will honor: macaroons! In the charming "Apartment" on the third floor of the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, one of the pastry chefs from the famous Lily of The Valley tea room welcomes us to help us discover the secrets of this very Parisian delicacy. On the tables, bowls, maryses and whisks await the fifteen apprentice cooks. After putting on a nice apron, the serious things can begin. What ingredients? How to succeed the macaroon collar every time? How to poach? All the tips from the pros are revealed before we get our hands dirty. Everything is explained in stages and the pastry chefs answer all the questions asked with patience and gentleness. After making the shells, it's the turn of the ganaches to be made.
