Next May 16 will mark the first day of the “Barbie's Birthday” exhibition, at the Galerie Isabelle Laverny, in the 17th arrondissement. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the most famous of dolls, photographer Michel Tréhet will present 60 unpublished black and white photographs highlighting this glamorous icon, known to all.
From Audrey Hepburn to Grace Kelly via Karl Lagerfeld, the artistic director Michel Trehet immortalized all the icons of fashion, style and elegance embodied by Barbie. At the Galerie de la rue Guersant, we find Grace Kelly in stagings in Deauville, on a trip to theHotel Normandy, which has received all the big names in fashion. Deauville is not a destination chosen by chance. A place dear to the heart of Coco Chanel, the designer liked to go there regularly to recharge her batteries.
During the stroll, we discover pictures in which Barbie wears outfits signed by the greatest designers including a Dior model, from 1947. Then head to Deauville beach where Barbie appears in a swimsuit, revealing her perfect physique.

Michel Trehet don't miss any unmissable spot in Paris to shoot the beautiful blonde, making us relive the scenes that have marked the spirits and inspired the fashionsphere like the one played by Audrey Hepburn In " Breakfast at Tiffany's in front of a window of the famous New York jewelry store.
