30 good resolutions to start the year off right

Rebel! Like every new beginning of the year, we tell ourselves that this time is the right one. We will be the best version of ourselves for the next 365 days. So to get a shot of positive vibes, here is the list of 30 good resolutions to follow. Ou not...

1. Take up meditation

A driver who has just cut us off, the postman who leaves our packages on the doormat… The first of our 30 good resolutions: We stay ZEN in all circumstances thanks to our 10 minutes of daily meditation.

2. Skip fake friends

Spot fake friends! VYou know, the very people who call us only when they need a favor. Draw a line under them, because we already have so many loved ones to take care of… No time for opportunists!

3. See one exhibition or film per month

“Culture is a hard drug that feels good”. And it's just as important as the rest, so we manage to find time!

4. Drink at least 1L of water a day

This is the bare minimum to avoid dehydration and it can only be beneficial for our body.

5. Same thing for 5 fruits and vegetables a day

We've been told enough about it, it's not for nothing. So we are no exception to the rule!

6. Avoid getting drunk in the middle of the week

The Wednesday morning hangover that reduces our productivity to 0… never again! Definitely one of the top 30 New Year's resolutions on our list…

7. Try a hypnosis session

The one we've wanted to try for so long. Whether it's to quit smoking, relieve stress, go on a diet...

8. Never skip the make-up removal step before going to bed

The N°1 golden rule for beautiful skin and a radiant complexion.

9. Arrive at the office on time

Because it's stressful and all the more frowned upon to arrive late. Prepare your outfits the day before and set your alarm clock at the right time. And not 30 minutes before going out if we need two hours to prepare.

10. Quit smoking

One of our 30 good resolutions that may save your life. For real. Our lungs will thank us and in addition, we find a peach complexion. All good! -

11. Create a Zen corner at home

12. Join the gym

And stick to it at least twice a week. Failing that, find a sporting activity that suits us: boxing, dancing, swimming, climbing...

13. Try to go to bed at least 3 times a week at 22 p.m.

To do 8-hour nights and be in top shape the next day.

14. Getting into the kitchen…

To finally stop eating ready meals. A great veal blanquette or a good homemade beef bourguignon… It's still better than these Picard-branded trays. Our best allies? The “Simplissime” kitchen range by J.-F. Mallet!

15. Eat balanced

Not too sweet, not too salty. Not too many McDonalds, KFC, Subway and Burger King.

16. Spend more time with your family.

Call family and friends to tell them we are thinking of them. It's still much nicer than a "like" on Instagram...

17. Spend less

By stopping compulsive shopping, for example, it's already a good start.

18. Volunteer for a cause close to our hearts

Because helping others is a guarantee of happiness and satisfaction.

19. Get off your smartphone

Because there are so many more interesting things to see and do than scrolling through your Instagram feed…

20. Travel more

As sang Julien Clerc in his song 'Partir', we always have a boat in our hearts, a plane that takes off for somewhere else… And above all because it's “the only thing we pay for that makes us richer”. All is said.

21. Organize your dressing room the Marie Kondo way

In addition to gaining space, we can even buy new things!

Because it's good to find your way to happiness... Bet on the latest Lenoir.

23. Take stock of your subscriptions

Because there are bound to be one or two that are useless and deserve to be terminated. Hello savings.

24. Impose a day in the month without social networks

You will see that a little detox is always good!

25. Treat yourself to a little gastronomic delight a week

Because you have to know how to have fun in life.

26. Buy responsibly

Because it is together that we will save the planet!

Because the satisfaction you'll get from crossing off each task at the end of the day is well worth it!

28. Manage your emails

If like us, you hate seeing the message “mailbox full”. Take as a rule of thumb to DIRECTLY delete unnecessary ones. Procrastination is over!

29. Being even-tempered for a whole week

Because we should focus on the essential only: the POSITIVE. So we stop doing the emotional yo-yo.

30. Limit the number of parties per month

Because going to the office with a hangover is no longer our age. As a result, we preferably choose a one-digit number!
