Our patience has been put to the test but the day long awaited by the French has finally arrived: that of the re-opening of our favorite restaurants! A little extra happiness: from today, you can sit down on the terrace – or indoors! – until 23 p.m. or even 2 a.m. Here are our best addresses to savor a top-notch meal or just have a drink in good company…

Les Deux Magots

It is obviously impossible to talk about Parisian terraces without mentioning that of Deux Magots, quite simply legendary. After several months of closure, our favorite germanopratine terrace reopens its doors, to the delight of Parisians! To us the branded pastries Pierre Hermé, the delicious croque-monsieur to eat on the go, healthy salads and other house dishes, which we have missed so much... In addition to enjoying a spectacular view on the Church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the terrace-garden has an umpteenth added value: its XXL size which makes it possible to respect the standards of distancing without difficulty.

Laurent

Not being an exception to the rule, the bucolic terrace du Laurent reopens its doors on Wednesday, May 19, too. Able to accommodate ten tables, it is perfect for sharing a gourmet moment with spring flavors, with his relatives. Cradled by the gentle sound of the Champs Élysées fountain, this island of greenery will enchant you, as much as the magnificent colorful dishes of the Chief Justin Schmitt.

Spitz

We missed her so much… She's back! Enthroned in the Tuileries garden, the Loulou terrace is very popular with VIP's and other socialites. Elegant at will (she is all dressed in white), she enjoys a magnificent view of the Louvre pyramid. In the plates, we delight in mediterranean dishes which breathe the sun and the generosity of the south: Ciochetti, Panzanella Salad, Linguine Mancini with pistachio pesto from Sicily, Pipe Rigate with vodka... Those who swear only by Italian gastronomy will be delighted by this one-way trip to the Dolce Vita !

Loulou Paris, 107 rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris. 01 42 60 41 96

-

Coco

Since its opening, Coco Paris has been the sexiest terrace in the Opéra district! And if we love the decoration way Gatsby (signed Thierry Boutemy) of the interior room, we still prefer its large terrace to enjoy the good weather. In the kitchen, the chef Julien Chicoisne and his brigade thought of everyone, the appetites of wolves like the twigs. On the menu: heart of smoked salmon, sea bream tempura, green asparagus with mimosa sauce… Yummy.

The Chalet of the Islands

A dream spot for a meal, a snack, brunch or a drink in the evening, the Chalet des Îles brings peace and quiet both on the terrace (by the lake) and in the shade of the parasols in the garden. Here, the chef's cuisine is simple and tasty, favoring seasonal products and the authenticity of tastes in the pure French tradition. On the menu: refreshing salads, a salmon-avocado Poke Bowl, grilled prawns, Thai mayonnaise and rice, but also classic dishes such as beef tartare, entrecôte-frites with Béarnaise sauce, veal liver… All to be enjoyed in a enchanting green setting, really disappointing.
