ANA KHEL is above all a family story, that of two sisters: Samira and Anissa. One has been living in Istanbul for about ten years, the other runs fashion shows as a model for a major international agency. United by their love of fashion, the duo will discover Uzbekistan and its traditions, and more particularly theikat, a complex ancestral know-how which consists in dyeing the threads before weaving... From their complementary experiences will be born ANA KHEL, a house which is betting on combining modernity and tradition while preserving this so precious know-how.

Ikat: the true DNA of the house
Dating from the XNUMXth century, we find theikat today in Asia (China, Japan) in Uzbekistan but also in Indonesia. Entirely made by hand, it results in very colorful fabrics – fuchsia pink, blue, red – declined in geometric or timeless patterns such as houndstooth and leopard… No less than 37 steps are necessary to make ikat ! His particuliarity ? There are variations and irregularities in it, which makes it a unique product.
