To change a little from the gift bought at the last minute, take the initiative to organize a tailor-made day to spend quality time with your mom. For this Mother's Day, Paris Select has prepared 3 typical days for a most unforgettable Mother's Day.

On the side of the Golden Triangle…

Going down the Champs-Élysées, you can stop at Galeries Lafayette and discover the latest fashion trends as well as the most cutting-edge designers of the moment. On Avenue Montaigne, you can go window shopping and marvel at the high fashion shops the most prestigious: Gucci, Chanel, Balenciaga, Celine…

Once you arrive at number 30, be sure to discover the sublime Dior store, which reopened its doors two months ago! This new location includes a café, the Monsieur Dior restaurant run by chef Jean Imbert, and the Dior Gallery.

A unique address where you can rediscover the whole history of the house through a unique scenography combining a myriad of photographs, documents as well as creations from the old collections.

On the food side, we recommend that you absolutely test the precious tea time at the Plaza Athénée, just a few steps away. Alternatives in the area? Ladurée on the Champs-Élysées or a snack at Café Dior.

Dior, 30 avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris – Plaza Athénée, 25 avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris.

On the Opera side…

On the Opera side, you can start your day with breakfast at the Café de la Paix before embarking on a shopping spree in the boutiques of Boulevard Haussmann. The obligatory stop during your mother-daughter day? The Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, where you will necessarily find your happiness. The seven floors of the department store bring together a fabulous offer of more than 3500 brands. On the agenda: the largest collection of women's fashion in the world, at the forefront of trends, concentrating the most chic labels.

And for enthusiasts who wish to broaden their olfactory culture, we recommend a visit to a Parisian high place of perfumery. Meet at Fragonard Perfume Museum located rue Scribe, in the district, just behind the Paris Opera!

Perfume Museum, 9 Rue Scribe, 75009 Paris. 01 40 06 10 09 – Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, 40 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris.

On the side of Bercy…

On the eastern side of Paris, The Bercy Village represents the ideal place to stroll with your darling mother. First, you can indulge in a shopping session in the 48 shops (Maje, Sandro, IKKS, Nin & Laur, Sephora, etc.) in the small open-air village… Shopping is heartbreaking! To give yourself a gourmet break, you will find a myriad of restaurants where you can regain your strength: Indiana Café, Roberta, Le Paradis du Fruit, Amorino, Five Guys, Frog... Whether you fancy a burger, a bagel or just an ice cream, there really is something for everyone.

A few steps from Bercy Village, you can (re)discover Romy Schneider's best films at the Cinémathèque Française. This exhibition brings to life the most emblematic roles and his collaborations with the greatest directors: Claude Sautet, Luchino Visconti, Orson Welles, Otto Preminger, Alain Cavalier... You will also discover his texts, interviews or unpublished filming images. Throughout her romantic life, the journey will allow us to understand how the little Austrian fiancée became an icon, a resolutely modern woman, passionate and free to choose.

Finally, at the end of the day, be sure to take a detour via rue Crémieux and admire its pretty colorful houses.

The Bercy Village, Cour Saint-Émilion, 75012 Paris – Cinémathèque Française, 51 rue de Bercy, 75012 Paris.
