The career of Sandra Bérété

Born in Paris, from a father from a former West African Imperial Familyt (the Waga of Ghana) and a West Indian mother, Sandra Berete naturally has a strong predilection for Africa and its art. Her vocation clicked when she crossed paths with master jeweler Henry Gargat, a close friend of Jean Dinh Van. The visual artist encourages him in the path of creation. Sandra then decides to learn the different sketching and sketching techniques used in the luxury jewelry. At the same time, she completes her training at the Institute of Gemmology in Paris. Once the basics had been acquired, Sandra Bérété set off on her own, offering sublime high-end jewelry, from its own collection or by making tailor-made products.

Sandra Bérété offers precious coins whose geometric and graphic lines are reminiscent of Art Deco. THE generous volumes, flower shapes and fine stones in shimmering colors echo West Indian and African art... real works of art whose beauty will never fade.

In terms of commitments, Sandra Bérété wants to be above all a ethical house. The current health situation has prompted her to engage with mining communities in West Africa by collaborating with the Geneva-based organization Globethics.net. Very attached to her roots, the designer wishes to take newnew strong CSR and ethical commitments. Proof of this is that it supports and perpetuates its partnership with communities of West African villagers who produce gold and diamonds.
