Admire (almost) in preview GOLD GOLD BY YVES SAINT LAURENT at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum

From October 14, 2022 to May 14, 2023, the Yves Saint Laurent Paris Museum is hosting an exhibition focused on the hour. The opportunity to rediscover this symbolic color through the creations and memories of the legendary couturier.
After having cut his teeth with the great Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent presents his first eponymous collection on 29th January 1962. It was the start of an incredible career that the 26-year-old fashion designer was far from imagining! Breaking the codes of femininity, it continues to inspire 60 years later... An important anniversary that will be celebrated with great fanfare with this anniversary exhibition at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum.
For this exhibition, the Parisian museum highlights a key element of the couturier's work: gold. From the first buttons he used to dress up his peacoats to entirely golden dresses, none of his collections have escaped this! This “magic shade” is an integral part of the designer's creative palette. And for good reason, all materials lend themselves to these sparkles: brocade, lace, lamé, sequins, leather, embroidery... Gold illuminates the darkest fabrics and colors with a touch of chic. This burst of brilliance, sometimes discreet, sometimes flamboyant, Yves Saint Laurent has made it his signature.
In total, you can discover around forty haute couture and ready-to-wear dresses, as well as objects collected by Pierre Bergé and brought back from Oran or Marrakech by Yves Saint Laurent, or accessories created by Loulou of the Cliff. Among them, the jeweled dress made for her fall-winter 1966-1967 collection, looks worn by Catherine Deneuve...
This exhibition promises a leap into the couturier's sunny memories...

Have fun at a crazy escape game : The crime of the Orient Express

If you are both a fan ofEscape Game and fan of the works ofAgatha Christie, we have the perfect plan for you. Code name ? The crime of the Orient Express.
The pitch ? Winter 1934. 23:42 p.m. The mythical Orient express continues its journey towards Istanbul in luxury and calm. That night is a night like any other, yet all of a sudden a cry, followed by a dull noise from the cabin of Samuel Lioretti come to break the silence of the night. He is dead ! Murdered... But how is it possible? His cabin is closed from the inside. You are the only passengers on this train, the murderer can only be among you! You must prove your innocence and find out who is behind the murderer before the police take over on your next stop.
Proposed by The One Escape, this hybrid escape game – between escape game and Murder Party – will immerse you in the heart of a murder within the mythical train… The particularity? One of you is the criminal so the mission here is not to get out of the room but rather to unmask him before the allotted time!
Yes, once you arrive on site, the Game Master takes care of randomly distributing the roles before having you board the mythical Orient Express, well prepared for the occasion. If the room that we discover is a bit smaller than that of a 'classic' escape game, we are impressed by the sets, larger than life. The small lounge, the bar, the landscapes that we discover through the windows and the sounds of the moving train...total immersion, we would really believe it!

During this unique experience, you will have to evolve both solo and as a team to find the murderer of Samuel Lioretti. All this, by embodying a full-fledged character with a pass and goals to keep throughout the adventure. No doubt, budding actors and other theater enthusiasts will be delighted!
Our opinion: far from being far-fetched, the scenario is very well put together. The investigation evolves at the rate of unexpected twists and the outcome should surprise you, at the end of the countdown! The experience is gripping and accompanied by our band, we really do not see the time passing. The crime of the Orient Express definitely represents our favorite in terms of escape game!
The One Escape, 39 Rue de Palestro, 75002 Paris. Sessions from 10 a.m. to 22 p.m.
