Bonnie

And if, to start, we took you to the side of the Marais ? In height, More precisely. To discover an almost secret restaurant where we are close to the stars and where dreams take place. It's at the top of the Morland Tower what is hiding Bonnie.

Moreover, Bonnie is not only a restaurant but also a bar and a club located on the 15th and 16th floor of the 5* hotel. SW / Paris. On the plate, we discover a mix between Paris and New York. It's beautiful, it's good, it's fun. The chef offers very high quality products and plates to share… Or not! As a starter, we loved the beef ravioli with truffles, mushrooms and foie gras (€24), then we chose the vegetable and cereal tian (€26). Finally, for dessert we opted for the vanilla millefeuille (€14). A real delight!

If you are looking for a place to take your +1, believe us: the 360° terrace and its breathtaking view of Paris and the cocktails to die for will earn you points!

Bloom Shushi

Now, head to the 17th arrondissement of Paris, where we invite you to discover vegan sushi. Indeed, Bloom Sushi is the first restaurant to offer such dishes. It's hard to resist when you know how much Christian Ventura's know-how is honored here.

Renowned chef in the world of vegan gastronomy, he landed in Paris to introduce his cuisine. Its goal ? Preserve the biodiversity of the oceans. And he put all his creativity to offer sushi without fish but also without seafood or products derived from animal exploitation.

We had the chance to taste the California Shishito: pádron pepper, grilled spring onion, shichimi, yuzu sauce (8 pieces, 9€) but also the Soba salad (16€). It's a big yes.

Menus from €25.

The 8th arrondissement of Paris is also full of very beautiful restaurants and there is the one that will now enchant your evenings: Sphère. Signed by the architectural firm Anegil, the decoration immediately puts us in the mood. Simultaneously calm and lively, neat and elegant, vibrant and reassuring. Let yourself be seduced by the cuisine of Japanese chef Tetsuya Yoshida, who offers precise and refined French cuisine.

On the menu, do not hesitate to opt for the Carte Blanche menu which comes in 4 or 6 courses or the starter + main course + dessert menu at €38 (€26 for starter + main course or main course + dessert). And to best accompany your choice, the sommelier will suggest a food/wine pairing to die for.

If you want fresh, gourmet and delicious cuisine, go to Sphère, you won't regret it.

Micho

This time, it's Julien Sebbag who will delight your taste buds and to do this, we go to the 1st arrondissement of Paris. On the menu ? Sandwiches to die for made from hallot (Shabbat brioche bread) from the no less famous Mamiche bakery. Once again, this chef does not disappoint!

Indeed, his talent is well established and he proves it with his totally unexpected card. On our side, we succumbed to the Stew with its beef stew, sweet potatoes, red cabbage salad, hazelnuts, parsley, thina with paprika (€15,50) but also the Roast with roast chicken, fennel, garlic aioli black garlic, chopped hard-boiled egg, pickled radish and spring onions (€15). Kalank

We understand it from the outset in his name, " Kalank » wants to be a homage to sunny southern cuisine. In the heart of the very friendly 20th arrondissement, a stone's throw from Place de la Nation, Patrick Sachetti wanted to open a restaurant showing its attachment to the Mediterranean flavors of its region. As soon as you push the front door… Change of scenery! Forget the cold and the gray sky of Paris, we discover a clear and luminous setting reminding us of the straw huts of the south. Pale wood tables, rattan armchairs and straw lampshades adjoin green plants and dried flowers scattered here and there. That solar decoration with a bohemian atmosphere immediately transports us to the south.

The surprise continues on the plates. In the kitchen, it's Kei Miura who is in charge. The Japanese chef is inspired by traditional recipes from Provence, Corsica or Languedoc to offer delicious seasonal dishes. From beautiful fresh and well-sourced products, he creates sincere, gourmet and perfectly presented cuisine. À la carte: smoked pork belly, puntarelle, citron lemon & Corsican bottarga, grilled octopus, spleen & rouille apple salad,
chicory braised with Gérard Jourdan honey, sheep's milk cream, the 3 starters of the moment. This is followed by an excellent roast veal served with its root vegetables, a roast Turbot with Provence herb butter or chard lasagna like in Nice. Of the legendary dishes from the south sublimated by the chef... Those with a sweet tooth can choose between poached pear and chiboust cream with Tahaa vanilla or Choco-choux with 72% dark chocolate infused with star anise and to accompany your meal, Kalank offers a very nice selection of wines and other spirits.

Ultimate plus: in addition to their terrace, perfect on sunny days, within the restaurant itself, the trip to the South continues with the delicatessen section. From food to tableware, groceries KALANK sublimates the South and offers to extend the culinary experience at home with pretty discovery baskets. Olive oil from Nice, Ma Sardine à Croquer lemon biscuits, La Ciotat soap, we find more than 200 products, reflecting the colors, flavors and scents of the South. A remarkable selection offered on sale in the grocery store and on their eshop, online.

Open for only a few months, KALANK has already won its first toque in the famous Gault & Millau. OTTO

Enthroned in the famous district of Mouffetard (5th district), OTTO wants to be the new table to trust with your eyes closed. Imagined by the duo of childhood friends Stephane Offner et Tony Alvarez Parage, in collaboration with the starred chef Éric Trochon, OTTO unveils a unique concept.

Upon arrival, you can admire the team busying themselves in the central kitchen. Indeed, drawing its inspiration from the tradition ofJapanese izakaya, the counter gives customers a glimpse of the chef preparing the dishes. On the walls, posters revealing the menu as well as the dish of the day, in chalk… A perfect artistic direction signed by the cabinet Ich&Kar.

For OTTO, Éric Trochon, a true lover of Japan, gives free rein to his imagination. The Meilleur Ouvrier de France offers a instinctive and instant cooking, with a ever-changing map, depending on seasonal arrivals. With its concept of "small" plates to share, OTTO relies on a confidential and friendly atmosphere.

We then enjoy roasted pumpkin with honey, razor clams with garlic butter, colored cauliflower semolina delicately placed on a delicious creamy cauliflower, shiitakes with grilled sesame oilfresh cheese falafel, gillardeau oysters with ponzu sauce… We fell in love with the delicious flank steak cooked with binchotan charcoal, a Japanese charcoal that allows perfect cooking control – and its chimichurri sauce as well as duck hearts with devil sauce. Everything is generously served and perfectly seasoned. None without fault! And to accompany these succulent dishes, OTTO unveils a quarries containing a nice selection of wines. We then discover no less than 120 references : wines of author, nature, or even biodynamics which do honor to our soil. As well as some beautiful bottles of Japanese whiskey for aficionados...

For those with a sweet tooth, the desserts are as tasty as the dishes! We recommend the sublime chocolate cake with tonka bean and fleur de sel as well as theoriginal creme brulee with honey… Truly comforting treats.

Tasty dishes, attentive service and a warm atmosphere… OTTO definitely has all the assets to become our new favorite address in the Mouffetard district.

OTTO, 5 Rue Mouffetard, 75005 Paris.

At Gala

Inaugurated only a few months ago, At Gala already attracts all of Paris. And for good reason, it's really the festive oriental restaurant we were waiting for in Paris! Upon arrival, the tone is set. Its opulent décor luxurious palace unveils feather suspensions, colored stained glass, velvety fabrics... A setting that immediately transports us to Marrakech. On the plate, the magic happens thanks to Vladimir Rapoport. Passed at passard et Trap, the super-talented chef delivers tasty cuisine that will delight the greatest gourmets.

As starters, we recommend the hummus in three colours, the aubergine caviar and the tarama, without forgetting the kefta-style lamb and veal skewers and their stunning mint sauce. Then, if the chicken tagine is to die for, don't miss thecandied shoulder of lamb from 12h to share, an absolutely incredible dish. To finish your meal, you will have the choice between the cabbage Paris Casa with sesame seeds and macaroon giant with rose mousse and raspberry coulis, really delicious.

Surprise, in the middle of the meal, live musicians start playing old and violinoriental dancers undulating between the tables and the DJ's on the turntables swinging sound until 2 am. And even if you have to leave the table, you can sit down at the bar or on the lower floor, which looks like a hammam, for a last drink.

Brasserie Pastis… and its Dining Room

With its tasty cuisine that smells of the south, its warm restaurant and its resolutely festive atmosphere, the Pastis Brewery already represented our Western Paris HQ. Ideally enthroned on the Boulevard Haussman, the little sister of the Brasserie Cézanne has won our hearts for quite some time now. It is therefore with particular joy that we learned that Pastis had inaugurated its annex room: Pastis Dining Room. Perfect for large dinners with friends, birthdays and other celebrations, this room can accommodate up to 60 people (+30 people on the terrace on sunny days) with two rooms, spread over two floors.

The card remains the same, it is always signed by the Chef Paul Alexandre Laumont. We therefore find his signature dishes, typical of the south: sautéed whole octopus, Scallops a la Provençale or the famous lamb chops with a full-bodied juice and rosemary, perfect for lovers of fine meats. To be privatized as soon as possible to celebrate your special occasions in a friendly atmosphere!

Mondaine

Instead of the formerRoxie, now sits Mondaine, still led by the group Paris Society. After a high-flying facelift, Mondaine is revealed in a neo-cabaret spirit : all-over carpet, leopard print, myriad of mirrors and sulphurous canopy beds are spread over the two floors, between the bar, the alcoves, the library and the smoking room. Spaces where you can roam freely, leaving the field of possibilities open to all encounters!

On the plates, we enjoy a fresh and light cuisine, to better slum all night. Green beans & button mushrooms, avocado, lemon olive oil or even Scallop Carpaccio et caviar are among the key entries. In terms of dishes, we will have the choice between sublime truffle linguine, pasta au gratin with lobster, delicious chicken with morels or even the incredible sole meunière accompanied by new potatoes, to share. Sweet tooths won't be harmed with a tart tatin with whole cream and caramel to die for, a chocolate/vanilla ice cream tart or small puffs to share... Yum.

And the atmosphere in all this? As night falls, a team of live musicians and singers play top French variety sounds and the hits from elsewhere that we love… and that we happily hum!

Mondaine, 23 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris. 01 53 75 31 00. Open Tuesday to Saturday 20 a.m. to 2 p.m.

& our favorite table at the gates of Paris:
Gruppomimo Levallois

Good news for western Parisians… and Levalloisians! Gruppomimo inaugurated its new establishment a few months ago, on the side of Levallois-Perret. Upon arrival, we take full eyes with his super instagrammable girly decor. The setting, both vintage and joyful, relies on the alliance of noble materials: pink benches, olive green velvet seats, marble tables, woodwork...

In super warm Italian atmosphere, we start by ordering a sunny cocktail with delirious flavors. Then comes the time to choose between the different dishes offered by Pietro Rabboni. Very fluffy Neapolitan pizzas, creamy risottos or generous pastas prepared directly from the wheel of Parmesan cheese, sicilian chef makes it a point of honor to source excellent fresh products, direct from its country of origin.

At the beginning of the year, the restaurant unveiled its new menu, in which we find the most emblematic recipes of the gourmet Dolce Vita (bruschetta, mozzarella, focaccia, etc.) but also an original suggestion of pizzas to warm the hearts of gourmets. . Our recommendations ? The delicious Coppa Zucca (butternut cream, mozzarella fior di latte, Provola, Coppa & basil) or the incredible Diabolo Diavola (tomato sauce, mozzarella fior di latte, piccante calabrese spianata, candied shallots, fresh ricotta, lime zest & basil).

Notice to pasta lovers, among the new products on offer, don't miss the Cheesy Piccante (Fresh all'uovo scialatielli, Gorgonzala & 'Nduja cream) or the Zucchina Salsa (Fresh all'uovo Garganelli, zucchini cream, Pecorino DOP, sage & zucchini chips). Sweet tooths are not forgotten with the star dessert Michel Angioletti made up of small pieces of pizza dough fried like 'churros', coated in pistachio cream… A treat for the taste buds.

The alternatives ? Besides the classic Tiramisu and Pannacotta, we recommend the dirty mouth, a light chocolate mousse with salted butter & hazelnut caramel, and finally, the one and only Pistacchiozza, a pizza simply covered with a pistachio spread… Quite simply, a killer.

Gruppomimo, 27 rue Carnot, 92300 Levallois-Perret. Open 7 days a week until 7 p.m.
