Discover the Proust House

Building on the success of Maison Souquet, elected " most romantic hotel in the world », the Collection Maisons Particulières has just unveiled its new address: the Proust House. A hotel that recreates the splendor of the Parisian salons of the Belle Époque, as close as possible to Marcel Proust's masterpiece: In search of lost time. Once again, it was the famous French decorator Jacques Garcia, who was in charge of staging the Maison Proust. Decorative objects – paintings, old books, works of art and period furniture found over several years – restore the splendor of the aristocratic interiors of the Belle Époque that Marcel Proust knew so well how to depict and write.
The decoration of the lounges, bedrooms, suites and spa features authentic treasures inherited from the end of the XNUMXth century.nd century. Among them, a copy of The Swann, dedicated by the author, a letter from Marcel Proust to Princess Soutzo, as well as a portrait of Marcel Proust by Jacques Aymer de la Chevalerie. Much more than a hotel, the Maison Proust is an incarnated place. The creative audacity of its founders associated with the talent of Jacques Garcia gave it a soul, Marcel Proust its spirit.
