The Maison Dior, in partnership with the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, pays homage to this heritage by dressing the windows of the Parisian department store with a spectacular scenography: recreating the worlds of seven emblematic perfumes from La Collection Privée, each in a refined window that borders Boulevard Haussmann, in direct contact with the color it exudes. Because behind each perfume composition of La Collection Privée hides a color, a story, an emotion...

The exhibition traces the history of the kimono since the Edo period (1603 -1868) and also shows how this traditional clothes is constantly changing. Source of inspiration in contemporary and global fashion, the kimono seduces young designers as well as fashion designers from Paul Poiret to John Galliano.
