Baptized by first names dear to the heart of the Ornano family, founders of the house, Sisley's Eaux Rêvées are a true ode to nature.
Perfume is a bit like Sisley's first love. Hubert d'Ornano, founder of the house and passionate about botany, had also opened a "small perfumery business" (Jean d'Albret) with his brother, when they were just 20 years old. Thirty years later, it was with his wife Isabelle that he created Sisley, a visionary cosmetics brand based on the expertise of phyto-cosmetology. Among its first products, a unisex and green eau de toilette, which has become cult today: Country Water.
This year, make way for Les Eaux Rêvées: a collection of six fragrances which draws its inspiration from Isabelle's olfactory memory. At the heart of these aromatic constructions? Nature and family, of course. The sensory journey begins with Hubert's Dream Water, in homage to the co-creator of Sisley, which flourishes aroundan intense Egyptian Geranium, climbing once in the family garden, which come to mingle strong green notes. The walk continues in this garden adored by Isabelle and Hubert, with Isa's Dream Water, a seductive marriage of Fresh jasmine and spicy essences.
In the Sisley family, we now ask for the three little girls: Alma, Eliya and Aria. The character of each asserts itself in their eponymous trails: fresh and delicate, Alma is a blend of icy Cardamom and crystalline Iris. Eliya, sensual, gives pride of place with exotic flowers warmed up by Tuberose and Violet. Playful and cheerful, Aria released a tasty fragrance of citrus fruits, ginger and vanilla, stung by a spike of Osmanthus. Ikar's Dream Water has its share of singularity since it is the only one in the collection not to bear the first name of a member of the family… but of a landscape of Corsica, cradle of the Ornano family. Echoing the myth of Icarus, this character from Greek mythology who flew too close to the sun, the juice is warm, pimped with Bitter Orange, Iris, Vetiver roots and a veil of Sandalwood.
These Eaux Rêvées are intended to be mixed so that everyone can let themselves be transported into their worlds bathed in mystery. On the Sisley site, a test allows us to discover the Eau Rêvée which is made for us.
Designed by Isabelle d'Ornano, these juices have come to life thanks to several sharp noses including Jean-Claude Ellena, creator of Eau de Campagne de Sisley in 1977. Alexis Dadier, Bernard Ellena, Domitille Bertier, Shyamala Maisondieu and Vincent Ricord have also captured the scents of certain Eaux Rêvées. On the box side, we must the bottle adorned with a majestic headdress by the Polish sculptor Bronislaw Krzysztof, also a friend of the Sisley house. Bottles which then danced under the brushes of Elzbieta Radziwill. Creations as light as poetic, to discover without further delay.
