Eataly, the most desirable Italian food concept, opened its doors in Paris, in the heart of the Marais district, under the auspices of the Galeries Lafayette group.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Founded by Italian <strong>Oscar Farinetti <\/strong>in 2007, Eataly has completely reinvented the codes of (slow) food with an ingenious avant-garde concept that has since become a global phenomenon. It all started in Turin, then spread to the four corners of the globe: Milan, Copenhagen, Istanbul, New York, Los Angeles&#8230; All foodies and other lovers of ritual gastronomy swear by the Eataly label. It&#8217;s high time Paris had one too!  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-color has-text-color\">&#8211;<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>A hybrid venue<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/eataly_paris_marais.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-36449\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Just a stone&#8217;s throw from <strong>BHV Marais<\/strong>, Eataly Paris stands in the place of the Parisian department store&#8217;s former staff canteen, and presents a <strong>magnificent<\/strong> setting that&#8217;s as uncluttered as it is <strong>welcoming<\/strong>. The idea behind the concept was simple: to bring together all Italian culinary specialties in one place, where you can eat, buy and learn.  <\/p>\n\n<p>It has to be said, for this first Parisian opening, the group saw things in a big way. This gourmet rendezvous dedicated to Italian gastronomy takes the form of an immense <strong>2500 m\u00b2<\/strong> store! However, it is divided into several areas<em>(the Italian market, the 7 restaurants, the enormous wine cellar in the basement, the grocery store, the cooking school&#8230;)<\/em> spread over <strong>3 floors<\/strong>. Here, you can stroll around and discover the best Italian products &#8211; <em>organic and responsible <\/em>&#8211; as well as incredible flavors.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-color has-text-color\">&#8211;<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Shopping stalls<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture-d&#x2019;e&#x301;cran-2020-07-20-a&#x300;-01.13.19.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41612\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Italian mamma or not, this is the place to<strong> shop <\/strong>! As soon as you enter, you&#8217;ll come across a <strong>greengrocer&#8217;s <\/strong>with magnificent fresh fruit and vegetables, sourced from the finest <strong>market gardeners <\/strong>in the boot&#8230; We arrive 3 times a week! Next door is the exceptional butcher&#8217;s shop <strong>La Macelleria<\/strong>, where La Granda&#8217;s meat is sold.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture-d&#x2019;e&#x301;cran-2020-07-20-a&#x300;-01.15.14.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41613\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The <strong>I SALUMI <\/strong>stand, offering the very best in Italian cured meats, is right opposite <strong>I FORMAGGI<\/strong>, the ideal spot to buy gorgonzola and other Parmesan delights. Near the exit<em>(the store is designed as a pathway<\/em>) there&#8217;s also an authentic <strong>panetteria <\/strong>where breads are made with certified organic wheat flour from Italian producer <strong>Mulino Marino<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture-d&#x2019;e&#x301;cran-2020-07-20-a&#x300;-01.03.49.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41608\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>In the basement, the cellar of great Italian wines boasts no fewer than <strong>5,000 references<\/strong>, making it the largest cellar in Paris in this niche.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-color has-text-color\">&#8211;<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Food corners and specialized restaurants  <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture-d&#x2019;e&#x301;cran-2020-07-20-a&#x300;-01.04.30.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41610\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>At this point, you thought you&#8217;d seen it all, but you hadn&#8217;t. On the little square in the middle of the store (&#8216;La Piazza&#8217;), all your culinary desires will be satisfied! For breakfast, head to <strong>Il Caff\u00e8<\/strong> <strong>e Gelato<\/strong> for a delicious <strong>cornetto<\/strong> and <strong>espresso <\/strong>prepared by the expert baristi as if you were in <strong>Rome<\/strong>. Fancy a quick snack? You&#8217;re bound to find something to your liking at the <strong>Tiramisu &amp; Cannoli Bar<\/strong>, which satisfies Italian dessert lovers all day long.  <\/p>\n\n<p>At aperitivo time, sit back and enjoy an incredible Spritz or Bellini on the terrace of <strong>Bar Torino<\/strong>. Our recommendation: the Adriatico Chinotto cocktail, just the thing! As for pasta and pizza aficionados, don&#8217;t worry, they haven&#8217;t been forgotten. Upstairs, the <strong>Pasta e Pizza <\/strong>restaurant serves the best <strong>truffle <\/strong> <strong>margherita <\/strong>and <strong>linguine <\/strong>in Paris!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-color has-text-color\">&#8211;<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>A large terrace in an enchanting setting<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_5526-Modifier.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41606\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>For a moment of Dolce Vita escape, take a seat on the terrace!
