Just a few months later, Le Comptoir Gastronomique was awarded its first Michelin star! We&#8217;ll give you the tour.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>We already know <strong>All\u00e9no Paris<\/strong> and <strong>L&#8217;Abysse<\/strong>&#8230; Last October, <strong>Yannick All\u00e9no<\/strong> inaugurated his third Parisian restaurant: <strong>Pavyllon<\/strong>. Located on the garden level of the <strong>Pavillon Ledoyen<\/strong>, Pavyllon&#8217;s entrance is totally independent from those of its &#8216;big brothers&#8217;.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"698\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/salle-pavyllon.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41651\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>As you cross the threshold, you&#8217;re immediately struck by the large (and very handsome) counter surrounding the open kitchen, a central element of the decor. A quick tour of the room: velvet and suede for the seats, ceruse oak panels on the walls and a geometric layout of glazed earthenware tiles punctuated by small smoked mirrors reflecting the garden&#8230; The combination of materials is very well chosen and every detail has been carefully thought out by the talented architect.  <strong>Chahan Minassian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/pavyllon-hdveronese-012.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41653\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Even if, in fine weather, it&#8217;s on the <strong>bucolic terrace<\/strong> that it&#8217;s most pleasant to dine, the bronze patina of the metallized wood counter is the perfect spot for <strong>curious gourmets<\/strong>. Here, they&#8217;ll have a front-row seat to observe the execution of a <strong>cuisine minute<\/strong> that blends <strong>French influences<\/strong> with other culinary traditions: the lightness of vegetable tempura, served as an accompaniment to several dishes, cooking on teppanyaki (a metal griddle), or a few blends of Nordic and Italian cuisine.  <\/p>\n\n<p>For those who prefer a more <strong>discreet<\/strong> setting, a few tables are set out along the large picture windows, offering a direct view of the gardens.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Capture-d&#x2019;e&#x301;cran-2020-07-22-a&#x300;-12.49.10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41654\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Our experience: seated on the terrace, we let ourselves be guided by the team and didn&#8217;t regret our choice at all. For starters, we were treated to several dishes, starting with mussels from Morisseau, tomato seeds accompanied by ice cream&#8230; with mussels! A surprisingly tasty ice cream that turned out to be delicious. This was followed by wood-grilled langoustines with ginger butter, and a steamed cheese souffl\u00e9 with an airy texture to match.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_1805-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41657\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Then the main course arrived, featuring trout confit, crispy tuiles with gros de lais and dill butter, to be enjoyed with a perfectly seasoned wheat. Now it&#8217;s time for dessert, which was offered on the day&#8217;s menu<em>(a 68\u20ac starter-main course-dessert<\/em>): raspberry boudoir tuile in a milkshake mousse. A delightful treat&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/TerrassePavyllon_TableFace_WEB-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41655\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>We love: the setting, of course &#8211; it&#8217;s impossible not to fall under the spell of this <strong>elegant terrace, bathed in <\/strong>just the right amount of <strong>sunshine <\/strong>. The staff are very attentive, but above all, the dishes were all <strong>exquisite<\/strong>, as beautiful and well-presented as they were tasty. A flawless performance!<\/p>\n\n<p>Leaving Le Pavyllon, it&#8217;s easy to see how this new restaurant earned its first Michelin star in just a few months.
