With 22 sports<\/strong> and 23 disciplines<\/strong>, the 11 days of competition promise to be rich in excitement.\nThe competitions kick off on August 29 with a packed program.\nIndeed, 11 para-sports will open the ball<\/strong>, including wheelchair rugby<\/strong>.\nHere, Great Britain will be defending its title against the vengeful United States!\nThe first medals will also be awarded today, notably at the V\u00e9lodrome National de St-Quentin-en-Yvelines<\/a> for the para-cycling track events<\/strong>, and at the Grand Palais<\/a> forthe para-taekwondo finals. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n
