Located in the heart of Paris’s 2\u1d49 arrondissement, Halo presents itself as a hydrous place that hosts within it a restaurant, a table d’h\u00f4te, a cocktail bar and finally a very cutting-edge concept-store<\/em>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

A little history: the H\u00f4tel d’Osmont<\/strong>, built in 1750, was once a gathering place for the Parisian aristocracy. Marguerite Stock, alias La Gourdan<\/strong>, a famous matchmaker nicknamed the superintendent of the pleasures of the City and the Court<\/em>, ran a popular pleasure house here. Today, this historic venue opens its doors as Halo<\/strong>, located in the typically Parisian Sentier<\/strong> district. The minimalist restaurant, designed by Lucie Rosenblatt of mur.mur<\/a>, enhances the 18th-century building<\/strong> without distorting its character. Its spectacular pyramidal glass roof, dating from the Eiffel era, adds a touch of elegance and authenticity to this high-flying venue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

As you enter this sublime concept store<\/a>, you’ll immediately be captivated by its minimalist design by Lucie Rosenblatt<\/strong>. The 60m\u00b2 space, with its green carpet inspired byEspace Niemeyer<\/strong>, blends modern elegance with rough historical elements. This unique venue gives emerging designers<\/strong> carte blanche. It also promises responsible<\/strong>, circular fashion<\/strong>. While the designers featured in this concept store will be based in Paris, Halo is not above opening its borders to 4 different nationalities, as with its recent collaboration with designers from Project 213A<\/a>. The boundaries between the store and the restaurant are fluid. Designers leave their mark with ceramics<\/strong>, menu protectors<\/strong> and staff outfits<\/strong>, all available for sale. A veritable well of light and innovation awaits you behind this door.<\/p>\n\n

Halo needed a chef with a strong<\/strong>, creative personality<\/strong> to complete the project. Victor Blanchet<\/strong> has put his knives to the test in this kitchen. After joining the Belle Rive restaurant in Angers in 2018, Victor went on to join Alain Passard’s<\/strong> three-star L’Arp\u00e8ge<\/strong> restaurant. His participation in Top Chef<\/a> in 2023<\/strong> also marked a turning point in his career, propelling him to the position of sous-chef at L’Arp\u00e8ge. Victor Blanchet proposes a sustainable cuisine, influenced by fermentation, with a strong plant and marine component. After an inspiring trip to the South of France<\/strong>, for Halo he signs a vibrant, local menu<\/strong>, with meticulously sourced ingredients.<\/p>\n\n

For lunch, 2 formulas<\/strong> are available: starter\/main course or main course\/dessert at 29\u20ac, and starter\/main course\/dessert at 34\u20ac. Dishes change every week, such as bass tataki flamb\u00e9ed with pastis<\/strong>, or just-pearled haddock with minted green vegetable fricassee. The evening menu currently features unique dishes such as txistorra ravioli<\/strong>, mullet carpaccio and bouillabaisse with mature red mullet. <\/p>\n\n

The desserts, also by Victor Blanchet, combine tradition and innovation. Let yourself be tempted by the light lemon<\/strong> with shuttle cookie and lemon granita. To accompany these dishes, Halo offers an eclectic wine list, created by sommelier Ir\u00e8ne Jaubert<\/strong>. Cocktails inspired by Provence and the South-West, created by mixologist R\u00e9mi Massai<\/strong>, perfectly complement this culinary experience.<\/p>\n\n

Following on from the cocktail bar, nestled in the basement of the restaurant, discover the Harrera table d’h\u00f4tes<\/strong> ( “good welcome”<\/em> in Basque). An intimate 30m\u00b2 space dedicated to gastronomy, freedom and pleasure. It is therefore only accessible by privatization<\/strong>. Conceived as a speakeasy, this room offers a distinctive scenography with light projections, dripping candelabras and an<\/strong> intense soundscape<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The Harrera table d’h\u00f4tes can accommodate 25 people in cocktail format<\/strong> (standing). It also reveals all its charm in dinner<\/strong> (seated) format<\/strong>, where 15 guests<\/strong> can gather around a large table with chrome legs, white tablecloths and sophisticated tableware. To top it all off, Harrera is offering a gourmet menu specially designed for the occasion, available in 3 courses at \u20ac50 per person<\/strong> and 5 courses at \u20ac75 per person<\/strong>, promising an exceptional culinary experience!<\/p>\n\n
