From January 23, 2025, Hubert and Zanzim’s award-winning comic strip Peau d’Homme<\/em> comes to life as a musical at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Montparnasse. Adapted and directed by L\u00e9na Br\u00e9ban, this creation is designed to maintain the comic strip’s excellence. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

A double-cross plot in the heart of the Renaissance<\/h2>\n\n

With over 200,000 copies<\/strong> sold, Peau d’Homme<\/em> made a lasting impression with its subtle, nuanced approach to questions of gender, sexuality and (above all) freedom. The story follows Bianca, a young woman about to be married in Renaissance Italy. As she prepares to marry a man she doesn’t know, her godmother reveals a secret: a mysterious man’s skin, inherited from her family. By putting it on, Bianca becomes Lorenzo. From then on, Bianca-Lorenzo explores a world forbidden to women. This dual role allows her to discover the complexities of relationships, while challenging the social norms of her world. <\/p>\n\n
