To celebrate Spring Festival and the Year of the Snake, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is decked out in vibrant, immersive scenography, blending Chinese traditions with artistic modernity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Under the symbol of the Serpent, embodying wisdom, regeneration and transformation, this event highlights 130 years of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann history and heritage, while celebrating the dialogue of cultures. London-based multi-dimensional Chinese artist Jacky Tsai<\/strong> has redesigned the emblem of this celebration, fusing the iconic architecture of the Coupole with elements of traditional Chinese art in a contemporary aesthetic. <\/p>\n\n

A unique artistic and cultural experience<\/h2>\n\n

The immersive displays and backdrops are inspired by ancestral arts, such as paper-cutting<\/strong>, a Chinese technique symbolizing luck and happiness, as well as traditional motifs such as flowers, butterflies, peacocks and Koi carp<\/strong>, bearers of prosperity and harmony. The color red, synonymous with good luck, dominates this staging, offering a vibrant visual spectacle. <\/p>\n\n
