On the fourth day of Men’s Fashion Week in Paris, Dior artistic director Kim Jones was made a Chevalier de la L\u00e9gion d’Honneur, in recognition of his work and impact on French fashion.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At Dior’s Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 show on January 24, 2025<\/em>, Kim Jones presented a collection inspired by the famous “H collection” of 1954, celebrating minimalist, elongated lines. Following this landmark moment, he was awarded the L\u00e9gion d’Honneur at a ceremony in Paris, a distinction that honors personalities who have made an exceptional contribution to France. <\/p>\n\n

An award for a remarkable career<\/h2>\n\n

Kim Jones, who has been working in France for fifteen years, spoke with emotion: “It’s a great honor […] I wish my parents could have been here to see this.”<\/em> This distinction crowns his career at Dior, where he has been in post for seven years, but also his years at Louis Vuitton (2011-2018), where he left his mark on men’s fashion.<\/p>\n\n
