Just off the Champs \u00c9lys\u00e9es, Flonflon is certainly one of our favorite bistros in the 17th<\/sup> arrondissement. If the name evokes a song, it’s not by chance. Owner and chef Pierre-Thomas Cl\u00e9ment has paid tribute to Alain Souchon and the spirit of Parisian fun. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

A passionate chef with a prestigious career<\/h2>\n\n

Behind the stove (oven and mill), Pierre-Thomas Cl\u00e9ment<\/strong> instills a remarkable savoir-faire, acquired from some of the greatest names in French gastronomy. Trained at the Ferrandi school<\/strong>, he honed his talent alongsideAlain Ducasse, Jo\u00ebl Robuchon and Pierre Gagnaire<\/strong> before embarking on his own adventure. With Flonflon, he aims to revive the bistros of yesteryear. Those where it’s good to live, eat and socialize. <\/p>\n\n

The gamble paid off: Flonflon is a real neighborhood address. You know what to expect and why you’re going there. Good food. From the lively midday to the effervescent evening, any time is ideal at Pierre-Thomas. <\/p>\n\n

A friendly setting for a change<\/h2>\n\n

As soon as you enter, Flonflon immerses<\/strong> you in a warm, trendy atmosphere<\/strong>. Far from the clich\u00e9s of the outdated, dusty bistro, the establishment is upholstered in Jean-Paul Gaultier. A little Art Deco, a few industrial touches and, above all, some superb African feather headdresses. To the left of the bar, a large display case lights up a beautiful collection of rums (a passion of the chef’s, which he’ll be happy to pass on to you). In the evening, the restaurant takes on a different look. The lights are dimmed (without plunging us into darkness!), and the atmosphere is alive with the rhythm of the Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es nightlife. <\/p>\n\n
