For the first time, a luxury brand joins forces with the \u00c9cole du Louvre. Louis Vuitton becomes a patron of the institution <\/strong>. The brand affirms its commitment to the transmission of knowledge and the preservation of artistic heritage.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Major support for French excellence<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The \u00c9cole du Louvre, located in the Flore wing of the Palais du Louvre<\/strong>, is a benchmark in art history, archaeology and museology. Thanks to the support of Louis Vuitton and its CEO Pietro Beccari<\/strong>, eight scholarships will be awarded over three years. <\/p>\n\n

Six of these grants will finance various academic projects. Two will be reserved for doctoral students<\/strong> working on Louis Vuitton history and know-how<\/strong>. Topics include the art of travel and expeditions<\/strong>, and the decorative arts<\/strong>. But also the heritage of the trunk-maker’s craft<\/strong>, the cornerstone of the company. <\/p>\n\n

A close relationship with the Louvre<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

This partnership is part of an already strong relationship between Louis Vuitton and the Louvre<\/strong>. Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re<\/strong>, artistic director of the women’s collections, regularly holds his shows there, and Pharrell Williams<\/strong>, head of the men’s collections, has chosen the museum as the setting for his next show for Men’s Fashion Week 2025-2026.<\/p>\n\n
