Agn\u00e8s Varda filmed and photographed Paris like no one else.<\/strong> His unique vision transformed the city into a living, vibrant character.<\/p>\n\n

From April 9 to August 24, 2025<\/strong>, the Carnavalet museum<\/strong> <\/a>celebrates her work with the exhibition Le Paris d’Agn\u00e8s Varda, de-ci, de-l\u00e0<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n

This exhibition explores his little-known photographic work<\/strong> and his intimate connection with the courtyard-atelier on rue Daguerre<\/strong>, his creative refuge from 1951 to 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Paris, setting and inspiration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The exhibition features 130 photographic prints<\/strong>, some previously unseen, and extracts from films shot in Paris<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Cl\u00e9o de 5 \u00e0 7 (1962)<\/strong> opens the tour with a Paris in motion, capturing the wanderings of a woman awaiting a medical diagnosis.<\/p>\n\n
