Ch\u00e2teau de Chantilly welcomes back the equestrian show “Un Jour \u00e0 Paris”. This captivating show plunges spectators into the effervescence of the Belle \u00c9poque. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

A journey through the Paris of 1900<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Created in 2024<\/strong>, this show is inspired by the Olympic Games<\/strong> and the<\/strong> 1900<\/strong> Universal Exhibition<\/strong>. It recreates the hectic atmosphere of a Paris where the horse still reigns supreme. The Compagnie \u00e9questre du Ch\u00e2teau de Chantilly<\/a><\/strong>directed by Sophie Bienaim\u00e9<\/strong>, offers an immersion into this fascinating era. <\/p>\n\n

The show follows Madame<\/strong>, a modern, elegant woman, as she goes about her day of social obligations. From a stroll in the Bois to the cabaret scene, each tableau evokes a facet of the Paris of yesteryear. The artists combine horseback riding, acrobatics, aerial acrobatics and mime<\/strong> to impressive visual effect. <\/p>\n\n

An exceptional cast and majestic horses<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Eight horsewomen, an aerialist and acrobats enliven the show. Talented mime Dmitri Rekachevski<\/strong> and aerial acrobat Quentin Signori<\/strong> add a touch of poetry and dynamism. Fifteen horses, five ponies and a donkey take part in this grandiose performance. <\/p>\n\n

Sumptuous costumes for total immersion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The outfits, designed by Monika Mucha<\/strong>, accurately reproduce the styles of the Belle \u00c9poque. Between elegance and eccentricity, they contribute to the unique atmosphere of the show. <\/p>\n\n

Practical information and reservations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The show runs from April 6 to June 29<\/strong>, then from September 18 to November 2, 2025<\/strong> under the dome of the Grandes \u00c9curies. Each show lasts one hour<\/strong> and starts at 2.30pm<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n
