When the roar of the engines gives way to the breath of the runners, the emotion is just as powerful. Ferrari has opened the doors of its fiefdom to a new kind of half-marathon. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

On March 30, over 10,000 runners<\/strong> took to the mythical asphalt of the Maranello<\/strong> site for the first edition of the Mezza Maratona d’Italia – Memorial Enzo Ferrari<\/em>. A symbolic event, conceived as a tribute to the late founder of the Prancing Horse brand. <\/p>\n\n

The 21.0975-kilometer<\/strong> route took participants from the Ferrari museum<\/strong>, through the private circuit at Fiorano<\/strong>, then along the famous avenue that runs alongside the production plant, before crossing the finish line at Modena’s Palazzo Ducale<\/strong>. A rare and privileged way to go behind the scenes of this Italian icon, usually closed to the public. <\/p>\n\n
