Chanel never ceases to surprise. After spectacular fashion shows and cultural exhibitions, the house is opening an experiential garden<\/strong> in Paris.This new location, kept secret for the moment, will see the light of day in the Marais, a district prized for its creative initiatives.The project will be ephemeral, but ambitious. A sensory experience open to the public from May 2025<\/em>. In this garden, there are no products to sell. Chanel<\/a> reverses the codes. It invites contemplation, slowness and discovery. Silent, plant-based, almost meditative luxury. A gentle way of making the home part of a sensitive ecological reflection. <\/p>\n\n

Sandalwood: a precious material, a major inspiration<\/h2>\n\n

At the heart of this project is a unique material: sandalwood<\/strong>. Used for centuries in perfumery<\/a>, it gives off a soft, enveloping, woody warmth.At Chanel, it is found in major fragrances such as Sycomore<\/em>, Bois des \u00celes<\/em> and Le Lion de Chanel<\/em>. The garden will offer an immersive journey around this ingredient. Olfactory installations will tell the story of its transformation. Botanical elements will evoke its natural origins, notably in New Caledonia<\/em>, where Chanel is developing its own sustainable supply chain.<\/p>\n\n

A sensory experience by Chanel<\/h2>\n\n

This garden will be more than just a stroll. It will be a complete sensory immersion<\/strong>, true to the Chanel universe. Each space is designed to awaken the senses, with natural materials on the floor, lighting effects, muffled sounds and discreet fragrances. Sandalwood becomes a physical and poetic presence. This project will also be a dialogue between art and nature. Guest artists will express their vision of sandalwood through plant and sculptural works. An artistic approach, but always at the service of emotion. Chanel seeks to create a suspended, intimate moment. <\/p>\n\n
