Behind every Christian Dior<\/strong> creation, a silent passion vibrates: that of nature. It was in Granville<\/strong>, in the lush grounds of the villa Les Rhumbs<\/strong>, that the young Dior developed his attachment to flowers and gardens. Between maritime pines and lush hedges, he found, thanks to his mother, a source of wonder that would never leave him. <\/p>\n\n

Her own testimony resonates like a common thread throughout the exhibition: “Having inherited my mother’s passion for flowers, I especially enjoyed the company of plants and gardeners.”<\/em> A fundamental love that would infuse each of her future works, from the design of her dresses to the composition of her perfumes.<\/p>\n\n
