A summer of introspection<\/h2>\n\n

Lorde hadn’t released anything for four years<\/em>. But with “Virgin”<\/strong>, her new album due for release on June 27, 2025<\/em>, the New Zealand singer is back with a vengeance. More than just an album, it launches a veritable summer aesthetic<\/strong>, combining stylistic detachment, emotional depth and a rejection of feminine stereotypes. Gen Z, always eager for a seasonal “rebrand”, has already adopted her: after Hot Girl Summer<\/em> and Brat Summer<\/em>, now it’s Lorde Summer<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n
