Away from the catwalks, Loro Piana acts quietly – but with global reach. In 2025<\/em>, the LVMH Group’s Italian house is rolling out “Resilient Threads”, a large-scale pilot project launched in the Mongolian province of Sukhbaatar. This five-year program combines ecological commitment, community support and a long-term industrial vision. Its ambition? To protect a resource as precious as it is exposed: cashmere. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Loro Piana, a program with a dual impact: human and environmental<\/h2>\n\n

Conceived in partnership with the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD)<\/strong>, the Sustainable Fibre Alliance<\/strong> and theOdyssey Conservation Trust<\/strong>, “Resilient Threads” sets up a unique system: a “One Health Hub mobile”,<\/strong> i.e. a mobile clinic providing veterinary care, vaccination campaigns and health awareness to livestock farmers in isolated areas.<\/p>\n\n
