Simon Porte Jacquemus loves history. But he loves his own even more. And that’s undoubtedly what makes each of his collections so singular. For \u201cLe Paysan\u201d, his eagerly-awaited new show, the designer from Marseille chose a symbolic location: the Orangerie at the Ch\u00e2teau de Versailles. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Versailles, chapter II<\/h2>\n\n

The link between Jacquemus<\/strong> and Versailles<\/strong> is not new. Back in 2022<\/em>, he presented his \u201cLe Chouchou<\/strong>\u201d collection on the banks of the Grand Canal. This time, the Orangerie<\/strong> – a prestigious venue rarely open to fashion shows – will be the setting for his next stylistic proposition, christened \u201cLe Paysan\u201d<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n
