With 130 works on paper<\/strong>, including 25 previously unseen, the Pierre Soulages <\/strong> exhibition reveals a more intimate side of the artist. Brou de noix, ink and gouache compose a sober and powerful language, where each stroke becomes light.These pieces, more confidential than his monumental canvases, nevertheless capture the same intensity. They prove Soulages’ ability to transform the simplest materials into a total sensory experience.
