Located just a stone&#8217;s throw from Paris, it confirms its status as one of the must-visit restaurants in western Paris. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>In barely a year, <strong>Amalth\u00e9e<\/strong> has established itself as <strong>one of Boulogne-Billancourt&#8217;s most popular addresses<\/strong>. Opened in mid-May 2024 by <strong>Alexandre Chapon<\/strong> (owner of Chez Julien in Paris, which we love) and his nephew <strong>Maxime Thevenin<\/strong>, this elegant and ultra-convivial brasserie is celebrating its anniversary today with <strong>a new lunchtime<\/strong> menu, designed for gourmets in a hurry&#8230; but demanding. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Seasonal cuisine by a Michelin-starred chef<\/h2>\n\n<p>To orchestrate this new culinary proposition, the two founders called on a big name: <strong>\u00c9ric Jolibois<\/strong>, ex-chef of the <em>Galvin La Chapelle<\/em> restaurant in London, where he won a Michelin star. His arrival marks a clear move upmarket for Amalth\u00e9e, without losing the brasserie spirit that has made it such a success. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Amalthee&#xA9;RomainRicard-49-751x1126.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-186669\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Amalthee&#xA9;RomainRicard-60-751x1126.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-186671\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p><strong>The new lunch menu<\/strong> <strong>runs from Monday to Friday lunchtime<\/strong>, with three price options: main course at \u20ac22; starter\/main course or main course\/dessert at \u20ac29; and the full menu at \u20ac39.<\/p>\n\n<p>The menu evolves with the seasons. At the moment: <strong>egg mayo revisited<\/strong>, <strong>salmon tartar and Granny Smith apple<\/strong>, <strong>green asparagus risotto<\/strong>, <strong>skate wing meuni\u00e8re<\/strong> or <strong>beef onglet with chimichurri sauce<\/strong>. On the sweet side, a <strong>chocolate mousse<\/strong> or the gargantuan <strong>pavlova<\/strong> end lunch on a gourmet note.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">A year-round terrace at the gateway to Paris<\/h2>\n\n<p>Located at <strong>32 avenue Jean-Baptiste Cl\u00e9ment<\/strong>, the Amalth\u00e9e brasserie also boasts <strong>a large terrace<\/strong>, ideal for sunny days. In winter, the terrace is heated and plaids are available, so you can enjoy the outdoors whatever the temperature. In the shade or in full sun, it extends lunches, business breakfasts or last drinks with friends. Continuous service, <strong>from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day<\/strong>, makes it a <strong>place<\/strong> where you can come at any time. The result is a hushed, relaxed atmosphere in keeping with the spirit of the founders. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">An address firmly rooted in its neighbourhood&#8230; and beyond<\/h2>\n\n<p>As soon as it opened, <strong>the whole of Boulogne flocked to Amalth\u00e9e<\/strong>. Andr\u00e9&#8217;s butcher&#8217;s shop, just opposite the restaurant, supplies the meat for one of the classics on the menu. The address also attracts many Parisians in search of fine dining off the beaten track.
