Nestled <strong>on rue du Sentier<\/strong>, <strong>Panurge<\/strong> is just a stone&#8217;s throw from the <strong>Com\u00e9die-Fran\u00e7aise<\/strong>, in a nod to culture and literature. At the helm? <strong>Jason Gouzy<\/strong>, already noted for his sharp concepts, here accompanied by chef <strong>Tomoyuki Uchida<\/strong>. Together, they explore <strong>bourgeois cuisine<\/strong>, that of big appetites and generous dishes, but with contemporary precision and well-dosed Japanese influences.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Elegant decor for a stylish feast<\/h2>\n\n<p>The world of <strong>Panurge<\/strong> is carefully designed: <strong>wood panelling<\/strong>, <strong>midnight-blue velvet<\/strong>, <strong>tablecloths<\/strong>, antique crockery&#8230; A warm yet sophisticated place, halfway between a literary bistro and a bourgeois salon. An atmosphere that evokes <strong>Rabelaisian generosity<\/strong> without falling into caricature.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">A menu combining French tradition and Japanese twist<\/h2>\n\n<p>On the plate, there&#8217;s an avalanche of dishes to share (or not): <strong>langoustines with madras curry<\/strong> (\u20ac23) sit alongside an astonishing <strong>Shio-Koji veal tongue<\/strong> (\u20ac17), while the <strong>vegetal vol-au-vent<\/strong> with mushrooms and runny egg (\u20ac29) is one of the best dishes on the menu.
