The setting changes everything. In this discreetly charming pavilion<\/a>, each room retains its traces of use, its doors, floors and patterns. Roadmap 2 settles in with sobriety, to preserve the memory of the place. What’s more, the domestic scale creates a rare proximity to the works. <\/p>\n

The scenography is based on what already exists. Narrow corridors, staircases and low ceilings become guidelines for in situ interventions<\/a>. In this way, old and new intermingle, without obscuring the original architecture. The eye wanders, then stops on an unexpected detail. <\/p>\n

Dialogues between street and living room<\/h3>\n

The strength of this project lies in the dialogue between urban and interior codes. Here, a mural gesture assumes its roughness against patinated tiles. Here, a contemporary installation plays with the light of<\/a> an old window. Roadmap 2 embraces this fertile friction, and it works.
