Founded in the 1920s, this emblematic brasserie has seen some of the most famous figures of the last century pass through its doors: <strong>Salvador Dal\u00ed, Maria Callas, Alain Delon, Mitterrand, Brigitte Bardot<\/strong> and many others. For decades, it was a haunt of designers, politicians and discerning gourmets. But as the years went by, the flame was extinguished and the magic diluted. It took <g id=\"gid_1\">the audacity and vision of Paul Bouillin-Tardy and Baptiste Masson<\/g> to give it back its soul. Today, Le Berkeley is no longer a place of the past, but <strong>the meeting place of the neighborhood<\/strong>, poised to reclaim the heart of the Golden Triangle.     <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Elegance in every detail<\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Le-Berkeley&#xA9;RomainRicard-5-880x587.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-199160\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Rather than raze everything to the ground, the two young owners opted for <strong>fine dining<\/strong>. The identity of the place was respected, but subtly enhanced by elegant choices. <g id=\"gid_1\">The veranda<\/g> has been brightened up with a Tricotel trellis, the same as that on the H\u00f4tel de Matignon, and framed with planters worthy of Versailles. The <g id=\"gid_2\">Leli\u00e8vre fabric banquettes<\/g>, impeccably finished cushions, Villeroy &amp; Boch crockery and antique silverware set the tone. <g id=\"gid_3\">Even the napkins are embroidered<\/g> by Garnier-Thiebaut. Nothing is ostentatious, everything is thought through. Here, <g id=\"gid_4\">luxury is hidden in the details<\/g>, and that&#8217;s what makes all the difference. Crab with Pondicherry red pepper, tuna tartar with avocado, sea bass in carpaccio, salmon with sorrel sauce, or lamb shoulder confit and Pithiviers with foie gras: the plates are clear, masterful, and <g id=\"gid_0\">build a narrative around the product<\/g>. In the dining room, service extends from 12pm to 11pm, with <g id=\"gid_1\">breakfast served from 8am on weekdays<\/g>, and a menu of signature cocktails to discover in the evening, in a piano-bar atmosphere on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. All accompanied by an impressive wine cellar of <strong>nearly 200 references<\/strong>.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">An aptly embodied reprise<\/h3>\n\n<p>Barely 30, <strong>Paul Bouillin-Tardy<\/strong> and <strong>Baptiste Masson<\/strong> embody a new generation of hoteliers and restaurateurs concerned with meaning, consistency and service. Paul Bouillin-Tardy has worked for Ducasse and the Loulou Group, while Baptiste Masson was head of hotel brand strategy at Accor.
