On February 7 and 8, 2026, the 2\u1d49 edition of La Vaisselle des Chefs invests the 5\u1d49 arrondissement for an event as gourmand as it is patrimonial, which has become a must for lovers of fine tables and tableware steeped in history. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

As in the first edition, all the items for sale come from prestigious establishments<\/strong> that have made French gastronomy and the hotel industry shine. These include items from Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e<\/strong>, Le Meurice<\/strong>, Lucas Carton<\/strong> restaurant, the legendary Bofinger<\/strong> brasserie, as well as Mandarin Oriental Paris<\/strong>, Scribe Paris Op\u00e9ra<\/strong> and Mori Venice Caf\u00e9<\/strong>. These are just some of the addresses whose backstage areas are a treasure trove. <\/p>\n\n

When tableware tells the story of gastronomy<\/h2>\n\n

The initiative is the brainchild of two Lyonnais women, Florence Daveau<\/strong> and Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Belhomme<\/strong>, who are passionate about gastronomy and events. While organizing culinary get-togethers, they noticed that many top houses had large dormant stocks of crockery<\/strong>, often unused but of exceptional quality. From this observation, La Vaisselle des Chefs was born in 2015, with a simple and virtuous ambition: to circulate these objects<\/strong>, offer them a second life and support partner associations<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

In Paris, proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Apprentis d’Auteuil<\/strong>, reinforcing the solidarity dimension of the event. Buying a plate or a dish thus becomes a committed gesture, as much as an aesthetic pleasure. <\/p>\n\n
