Two convivial lunches will bring together winemakers and wine lovers to celebrate the Loire&#8217;s wine heritage.  <\/p>\n<h2>A Parisian rendez-vous on the banks of the Seine<\/h2>\n<p>The Quai de la Tournelle will play host to this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/en\/2026\/03\/13\/14-festive-restaurants-in-paris-where-you-can-dance-and-feast-for-an-unforgettable-evening\/\">gourmet feast<\/a> opposite Notre-Dame. This historic site was once bustling with wine transport and floating markets. The setting lends itself perfectly to this celebration of Loire reds.  <\/p>\n<p>Eight appellations will be represented over the two days. Chinon, Bourgueil, Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Saumur and Saumur-Champigny will all be making the trip. Anjou, Touraine and Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame will complete the line-up. In addition, <strong>100 winegrowers<\/strong> will be serving their own vintages <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/en\/2026\/03\/12\/tapas-bars-in-paris-15-must-visit-addresses-for-a-convivial-evening\/\">to guests<\/a>.   <\/p>\n<h3>Lunches signed by a Touraine chef<\/h3>\n<p>The talented Paul Delhommais, chef at Miettes restaurant in Tours, will orchestrate the meals. Each guest will enjoy a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/en\/2026\/03\/13\/bouillon-italien-the-new-place-to-go-for-generous-fresh-pasta-in-paris\/\">complete menu<\/a>: starter, main course, cheese and dessert. A vegetarian option will be available to satisfy every palate.<br \/>\n&#8220;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Rouges de Loire tell a host of stories, to be enjoyed in a thousand ways: those of varied terroirs, over 2000 years of know-how, passionate winegrowers, and a typically Loire way of life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The spirit of winegrowers&#8217; banquets will enliven these tabl\u00e9es. We&#8217;ll be taking the time to toast, share and exchange. As a result, the atmosphere promises to be warm and friendly, far removed from stuffy formats.  <\/p>\n<h2>Loire wines: a committed and diversified vineyard<\/h2>\n<p>The Loire vineyards stand out for their commitment to the environment. Today, <strong>85% of Loire wines<\/strong> are organically grown or have environmental certification. This sustainable approach meets the expectations of impact-conscious consumers.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cabernet Franc dominates red production, the Loire being the world&#8217;s leading region for this grape variety.<\/li>\n<li>Gamay and Grolleau bring freshness and lightness to blends<\/li>\n<li>Cabernet Sauvignon and C\u00f4t enrich the aromatic palette<\/li>\n<li>Pineau d&#8217;Aunis and Pinot Meunier offer original profiles<\/li>\n<li>These grape varieties can be used to create light wines as well as cuv\u00e9es for laying down.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This diversity of grape varieties explains the richness of Loire Valley reds. Each appellation offers distinct profiles according to its terroir. However, they all share the characteristic freshness of the Loire Valley climate.  <\/p>\n<h3>Eight appellations with distinctive personalities<\/h3>\n<p>Chinon reveals all the charm of Cabernet Franc, with notes of blackcurrant and redcurrant. After a few years, these wines evolve towards spices and stewed black fruit. Bourgueil embodies generosity, with full-bodied, intensely flavored cuv\u00e9es.  <\/p>\n<p>Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil produces fresh, supple and light wines. Its cherry and raspberry aromas appeal to lovers of accessible reds. Saumur-Champigny distinguishes the area&#8217;s great reds with notes of violets and depth.  <\/p>\n<h2>A video mini-series to tide you over<\/h2>\n<p>From <strong>March 10, 2026<\/strong>, an immersive video mini-series will be broadcast. Four stopovers in emblematic Loire locations will punctuate this visual journey. Gwilherm de Cerval, Lauren de Gaudenzi, Alexis Le Rossignol and Ambroise Voreux will guide viewers.  <\/p>\n<p>This series will allow you to discover the art of living in the Loire before the Paris event. Over the course of each episode, the richness of Loire wines will gradually be revealed. Enthusiasts will be able to prepare their visit by familiarizing themselves with the appellations.  <\/p>\n<p>Lunch is priced at <strong>60 euros per person<\/strong>. Four glasses of red wine will be served during the meal by the winemakers present. After lunch, wines will be sold by the glass to prolong the moment.  <\/p>\n<h3>Practical booking information<\/h3>\n<p>The two lunches will take place on Saturday June 13 and Sunday June 14 at 12:15pm. The Quai de la Tournelle is located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. It is easily accessible by metro from Maubert-Mutualit\u00e9 (line 10) or Pont Marie (line 7).  <\/p>\n<p>The interprofession des Vins de Loire brings together <strong>3,000 operators<\/strong> spread over 42,000 hectares. It also represents 34 appellations and denominations from the Nantais, Anjou-Saumur and Touraine regions.
