On the occasion of Watches and Wonders 2026, Cartier unveils six new models celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Priv\u00e9 program<\/strong>. This collection brings vintage models up to date. Lovers of fine watchmaking<\/a> have much to look forward to this year. <\/p>\n

The Priv\u00e9 collection celebrates a decade of bold creativity<\/h2>\n

Every edition of Watches and Wonders is full of surprises. However, the curtain-raiser<\/a> for the Priv\u00e9 collection remains one of the most eagerly awaited moments. This year, the company is offering six new watches in two groups of three<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Enthusiasts could have hoped for more designs from the archives<\/a>. Models such as the Driver, Basculante, Coussin and Cristallor also deserve a comeback. Even so, it’s hard to be disappointed by six such iconic pieces. <\/p>\n

Crash Squelette: a spectacular reinvention<\/h3>\n

We thought the Crash was already at the pinnacle of originality. Cartier proves that it can still surprise with this skeletonized version. Unlike classic<\/a> openworked watches, the technique is not used here to display a flashy movement. <\/p>\n

“Bridges in the shape of Roman numerals spring from the edges of the case and merge into the movement. It’s beautiful.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This model features an entirely new form of movement. It remains largely concealed behind the device that holds the motor. This inventive approach leaves plenty of space thanks to a precisely shaped movement. The piece is thus a true work of art. <\/p>\n

Tank Cintr\u00e9e and Tank Normale: two visions of elegance<\/h2>\n

The company offers many variants of the Tank. Yet none matches the elegance of the Cintr\u00e9e. Its elongated case is subtly curved to fit the wrist with finesse. <\/p>\n

    The square-shaped Normale represents the very first version of the model. Although the rectangular proportions of the Louis Cartier have become prototypical, it inaugurated the lineage. The platinum version offers a discreet presence, considerably enhanced by its elegant bracelet. <\/p>\n

    These two watches embody timeless codes. They appeal to collectors and new enthusiasts alike. Their sleek design suits all occasions. <\/p>\n

    La Tortue Chronographe Monopoussoir: power and refinement<\/h3>\n

    It’s going to be a big year for the Tortue. In addition to this variant from the Priv\u00e9 collection, several other versions are arriving in the main line. A very small and subtle edition is among them. <\/p>\n

    This larger Tortue is crafted in platinum. It features an “XII” index at 12 o’clock, giving the effect of an imperial statue. The monopusher chronograph adds a technical function to this already remarkable timepiece. <\/p>\n

    La Cloche: a bold design inspired by the hotel industry<\/h2>\n

    Even for a house accustomed to singular shapes, the Cloche is astonishing. It resembles the dome that covers the room service control in a fine hotel. The case is flat on the left, but extends into a long arc on the right. <\/p>\n

    This watch is designed to be placed on its side. Only when placed on its flat edge do the numerals and logo appear right-side-up. Fidelity to the original inspiration testifies to a rare sense of detail. <\/p>\n

    With these six models, the Priv\u00e9 program confirms its role as guardian of watchmaking heritage. It is also a reminder that audacity and tradition can coexist harmoniously.
