Wearisma&#8217;s Beauty Influence Index 2026 report reveals figures that are reshaping <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/2026\/05\/05\/french-blending-la-technique-sur-mesure-signee-loreal-paris-pour-sublimer-les-cheveux-blancs-en-salon\/\">brand<\/a> strategies.  <\/p>\n<h2>TikTok dominates the beauty industry with $18.1 billion<\/h2>\n<p>With <strong>$18.1 billion in earned media value<\/strong> generated by 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/2026\/05\/05\/maybelline-sky-tubes-le-nouveau-mascara-tubing-pour-des-cils-xxl-qui-se-demaquille-a-leau-chaude\/\">TikTok<\/a> takes the top spot. Instagram is relegated to $17 billion. This shift marks a profound change in audience habits.  <\/p>\n<p>The platform&#8217;s annual growth rate is <strong>+55%<\/strong>. The gap is not limited to volume. In terms of engagement, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/en\/2026\/05\/04\/shark-facialpro-glow-this-3-in-1-device-transforms-your-skincare-routine-at-home\/\">TikTok<\/a> generates almost <strong>20 times more interactions<\/strong> than Instagram.  <\/p>\n<p>Yet Instagram still has its strengths. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parisselectbook.com\/2026\/05\/05\/colorimetrie-et-vernis-les-conseils-dune-experte-pour-choisir-la-teinte-ideale-selon-vos-ongles\/\">Carousel<\/a> formats are more effective, with <strong>+29% media value per publication<\/strong> compared to Reels. Yet these formats remain largely under-exploited by brands.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TikTok generates $18.1 billion in media value by 2025<\/li>\n<li>The platform posts +55% year-on-year growth<\/li>\n<li>20 times more engagement than Instagram<\/li>\n<li>Macro-influencers up 23%.<\/li>\n<li>ASMR content offers the best return per publication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>France records fastest growth among major markets<\/h2>\n<p>The geographic analysis in the Wearisma report highlights contrasting regional dynamics. North America retains its leadership with <strong>$19 billion in media value<\/strong>. The United States alone accounts for $17 billion.  <\/p>\n<p>However, the most remarkable dynamic comes from Europe. France is the fastest-growing of the major markets, with <strong>+61%<\/strong> to <strong>$3 billion<\/strong>. This figure repositioned the Hexagon as a major strategic pole.  <\/p>\n<p>Italy and Spain confirm this European trend. The EMEA region is becoming increasingly important for beauty brands. The overall weight of the industry and its online influence has grown by <strong>+17%<\/strong> in 2025.  <\/p>\n<h3>A market valued at $40 billion<\/h3>\n<p>The Beauty Influence Index 2026 report is based on massive data. Wearisma analyzed <strong>327 beauty brands<\/strong> in over 90 markets. The study also covers over <strong>111,000 creators<\/strong> across 4.9 million conversations.  <\/p>\n<p>Estimated <strong>at $40 billion in media value<\/strong>, this market covers the industry&#8217;s top 100 brands. Comparisons are for the full year 2025, versus 2024. <\/p>\n<h2>Make-up dominates, K-Beauty soars by +90<\/h2>\n<p>Make-up continues to dominate the beauty industry. This segment represents <strong>$28 billion<\/strong>, or <strong>61% of the total value<\/strong> generated in 2025. L&#8217;Or\u00e9al Paris leads the way with $3 billion.  <\/p>\n<p>Designer-founded brands record sustained trajectories. Rhode reached $1 billion. Westman Atelier grew by <strong>+117%<\/strong> and Haus Labs by <strong>+66%<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p>Skincare confirms its solid status, with <strong>$9 billion in media value<\/strong> and $50 billion in commitments. Meanwhile, the perfume segment emerges as the most dynamic, reaching <strong>$8 billion<\/strong>. Notably, this is the only segment where Instagram retains leadership.  <\/p>\n<p>Certain trends stand out for their acceleration. K-Beauty generates <strong>$1 billion in media value<\/strong>, having grown <strong>+90%<\/strong> in one year.
