Herm\u00e8s confirms its presence in the \u00cele-de-France<\/a> region with a major project. A new production workshop will be built in Champigny-sur-Marne, in the Val-de-Marne region. This announcement, revealed in a public consultation file, marks a major step forward for French know-how. <\/p>\n

A strategic site in Val-de-Marne for the Maison de luxe<\/h2>\n

Champigny-sur-Marne is already home to two of the Parisian label<\/a>‘s workshops. Now, a 1.7-hectare<\/strong> plot of industrial wasteland will be transformed. The site has direct access to the A4 freeway and is close to the future extension of line 15 of the Grand Paris Express metro system. <\/p>\n

Delivery of this 8,000 m\u00b2<\/strong> workshop is scheduled for June 2028. This ambitious timetable reflects the Group’s determination to accelerate industrial development in France<\/a>. As a result, this project is in line with the Group’s strategy of reinforcing its territorial coverage. <\/p>\n

Eventually, the site should accommodate up to 300 people<\/strong>. Among them, 25 employees from the current production site in the Coeuilly district will be integrated. In this way, the initiative promotes the continuity of local employment<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Production dedicated to metal parts<\/h3>\n

The initiative is led by Herm\u00e8s Manufacture de M\u00e9taux. This subsidiary was born of the acquisition and integration of supplier J3L in 2020. As a result, the Group now controls the entire production chain. <\/p>\n

    Herm\u00e8s is thus pursuing its industrial development in France. This is in response to growing worldwide demand for its creations. At the same time, it preserves the company’s craftsmanship and artisan skills. <\/p>\n

    In the first quarter of 2026, the House recorded sales of almost 4.1 billion euros<\/strong>. This represents growth of +6%<\/strong> over the same period. This performance justifies ongoing industrial investments. <\/p>\n
