On February 26, 2026<\/em>, the Cannes Film Festival announced the appointment of South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook as President of the Competition Jury. He succeeds Juliette Binoche, adding his demanding vision to the continuity of the festival’s great figures.A regular on the Croisette, Park Chan-wook is intimately familiar with the spirit of Cannes.
