Melanie Brownlow, founder of the St Moriz self-tanning brand, warns against a widespread practice. She advises against mixing tanning drops directly with sunscreen before application. In fact, self-tanning products generally contain DHA (dihydroxyacetone)<\/strong>, the active ingredient responsible for the tanning effect on the skin<\/a>. <\/p>\n
