This month sees some of the most eagerly awaited events of the year, from the F\u00eate de la Musique to the finals of Roland-Garros, as well as concert stages that light up every evening. <\/p>\n

Highlights not to be missed this month<\/h2>\n

The month opens with the second week of the French Open<\/a>. From June 1 to June 7, 2026<\/strong>, the Porte d’Auteuil stadium will see its most intense days: eighth, quarter and semi-finals follow one another before the women’s final on Saturday June 6<\/strong> and the men’s grand final on Sunday June 7<\/strong>. Between two matches on the Philippe-Chatrier or Suzanne-Lenglen courts, the atmosphere of the village and the giant screens offer a unique experience. <\/p>\n

In addition, artist JR takes over the Pont Neuf with a free monumental installation<\/a> entitled La Caverne du Pont Neuf<\/strong>. The project pays homage to Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s historic 1985 packaging, now celebrating its 40th anniversary. The work, accessible on foot from the riverbank or from the Seine during a cruise, creates a striking dialogue between rough stone and the elegance of the river. Please note: for technical reasons, the opening scheduled for June 6 has been postponed to a later date. <\/p>\n

On Saturday June 6, 2026<\/strong>, Nuit Blanche takes over the capital’s cultural venues for an entire night. Artistic director is artist and DJ Barbara Butch<\/strong>.     Family outings and top-level sporting events<\/h3>\n

    Families have plenty of options this month. Rendez-vous aux jardins<\/strong> takes place on June 5, 6 and 7, 2026<\/strong>, with the theme of sight, for this 23rd edition. June 17, 2026<\/strong> marks the kick-off of Partir en Livre<\/strong>, the great celebration of books for young people, with thousands of events in Paris and across France until July 19, 2026.
