The summer of 2026 has a wonderful surprise in store for Parisians looking to cool off. A beach<\/a><\/strong> that has been closed for over 50 years is finally reopening, just 30 minutes from the capital. This news might just change your summer plans. <\/p>\n

A historic beach is being revitalized just outside Paris<\/h2>\n

Last year, the City of Paris caused a sensation by reopening the Seine for swimming<\/a>. This reopening came after a ban that<\/strong> had lasted more than 100 years<\/strong>. It was an event that left a lasting impression on the region\u2019s residents. <\/p>\n

Following in the capital\u2019s footsteps<\/a>, Neuilly-sur-Marne is now set to take the same step. The riverbanks in this town had been closed to the public since 1970<\/strong>. The town is therefore welcoming a long-awaited new swimming area. <\/p>\n
