In 2030, the Courcheneige site, a storied address in the Jardin Alpin, will become home to a One&Only resort. This is more than a hotel opening: it is a clear signal of the profound transformation underway in alpine luxury, and of the position Courchevel now occupies within the global high-end hospitality economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Jardin Alpin: a location that says everything about Courchevel 1850<\/h2>\n

In the resort’s symbolic hierarchy, location remains the true currency. For decades, the Jardin Alpin has concentrated a particular geography of winter power: ski-in access, a degree of remove from the centre, proximity to grand private residences<\/a>, and a direct view of the Bellec\u00f4te piste. This move fits into a wider trend. Over the past five years, groups such as Aman, Six Senses, Ultima Collection and Experimental have been steadily moving into the European mountains with an approach that is more residential, less seasonal and more firmly oriented toward wellness. One&Only is joining a movement already in motion, but with the ambition of a laboratory: following One&Only Moonlight Basin in Montana, the French alpine resort becomes its first European experiment in a vertical, mineral environment.<\/p>\n
