That is precisely what Swiss watchmaker Blancpain<\/strong> is offering at its brand-new address at 11, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honor\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>, which opened at the end of July 2026.<\/p>\n

A notable return to the Faubourg Saint-Honor\u00e9<\/h2>\n

This is not Blancpain’s first foray into Paris, but a homecoming of sorts. Present in the capital since 2003<\/strong>, the maison had previously set up on the place Vend\u00f4me<\/a> before choosing, for this new chapter, one of the most iconic streets in Parisian luxury<\/a>. Stretching between the Madeleine and the \u00c9lys\u00e9e, the street now boasts a rare concentration of fine watchmaking houses and has firmly established itself as their natural territory in 2026.<\/p>\n

This move, then, is far from incidental. It signals a clear positioning within a neighbourhood in full renaissance, where every address carries weight. For a manufacture founded in 1735<\/strong> in the Swiss village of Villeret, and widely regarded as the oldest still in operation in the world, the choice reads as a statement of intent.<\/p>\n

An architecture that spans the ages<\/h2>\n

The boutique unfolds across two levels<\/strong>, conceived as a lived-in home rather than a retail space. The stated ambition is a place of sharing and discovery, warm and welcoming. To achieve this, the architecture draws on three defining periods of Parisian artistic history.<\/p>\n

On the ground floor, a long table evokes the counter of a Parisian brasserie. It invites you to sit down, order a coffee, and explore the strap bar, a dedicated space for personalising the Fifty-Fathoms<\/strong>. A staircase adorned with Art Nouveau-inspired foliage then leads up to the first floor.<\/p>\n

There, a Haussmann-era apartment of 50 m\u00b2<\/strong> welcomes visitors in a carefully curated setting: blond Point de Hongrie parquet, a marble fireplace, and subdued lighting. An Art Deco glass partition, decorated with a stylised metal B, separates this space from a private salon where clients can make their selection away from other eyes. Three styles, one coherence: Haussmannian, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco follow one another without contradiction.<\/p>\n

The boutique does far more than display watches. It offers a structured experience built around several distinct moments, all anchored within the two levels of the space.<\/p>\n

    The exclusive Villeret, the centrepiece of the opening<\/h2>\n

    To mark the occasion, Blancpain<\/strong> unveils a special edition from its Villeret collection. The chosen diameter is 38 mm<\/strong>, a size that speaks directly to current market expectations. The strap is in olive-green alligator nubuck, a material choice that sets it apart from more classic codes.<\/p>\n

    The opaline dial showcases yellow-gold numerals whose warmth contrasts with the understated steel case. This combination of steel and yellow gold, paired with the olive-green strap, illustrates how the manufacture balances horological tradition with contemporary form.
