A h\u00f4tel particulier on rue de Martignac, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, will open its doors free of charge from 10 to 13 September 2026<\/strong>: this is where Louis Vuitton<\/strong> has chosen to present its new Objets Nomades Collections, as part of Paris Design Week<\/a>. A discreet address, access by reservation only, and limited-edition creations to discover within a heritage setting.<\/p>\n

An armchair at the heart of Louis Vuitton’s new creations<\/h2>\n

Among the pieces unveiled this year, one armchair stands out. Named Kubic<\/strong>, it belongs to the Hommage \u00e0 Pierre Legrain collection and revisits a model originally designed for Jacques Doucet in 1923<\/strong>. Its sharply architectural silhouette<\/a> combines a trapezoidal back, faceted Nomade leather armrests and notched rosewood legs. The overall effect evokes both Art Deco and Cubism.<\/p>\n

The chair passes through the hands of the Maison’s leather craftspeople and cabinetmakers, who honour the spirit of the original while shaping it through their own expertise. It is precisely this dialogue between historical heritage<\/a> and contemporary craftsmanship that has defined the identity of the Objets Nomades since their launch in 2012<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pierre Legrain, decorator, illustrator, bookbinder and cabinetmaker<\/a>, was already collaborating with the Maison in the 1920s. He conceived the Coiffeuse, the very first piece of furniture ever produced by Louis Vuitton. A century on, his archives continue to inspire new creations, alongside pieces by Estudio Campana, Raw Edges and Franck Genser.<\/p>\n

What the Objets Nomades mean to the Maison’s art de vivre<\/h2>\n

Since their inception, the Objets Nomades Collections have been built on a clear principle: inviting contemporary designers to conceive limited-edition pieces, brought to life through the Maison’s artisanal expertise. Each piece is born from an encounter between an outside creative vision and an in-house mastery of craft.<\/p>\n

In 2025, this approach took on new scope with the launch of the Collections Maison. Around the Objets Nomades, new lines of furniture, lighting, d\u00e9cor, textiles, tableware and games have taken shape. The Maison now maps out a complete art de vivre, from the armchair to the objects that dress the rooms of everyday life.<\/p>\n

    Paris had already caught a glimpse of this world during Design Miami 2025, with a free exhibition held at LV Dream. Objets Nomades, creations by Est\u00fadio Campana and the Appartement Louis Vuitton came together to form a full-scale living tableau. For the 2026 edition, the Maison changes address and continues the journey on rue de Martignac, with its latest creations as luggage.<\/p>\n
