That is exactly what Monoprix<\/strong> is offering with its new capsule collection, born from an unprecedented collaboration with the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay, available from 23 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A first for Monoprix: partnering with a museum<\/h2>\n

This autumn 2026<\/a>, the brand is going further than a single new launch. Following a design-led collaboration with Hall Haus, Monoprix<\/strong> is breaking new ground by joining forces with a cultural institution for the very first time. And the choice is anything but coincidental: the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay is celebrating its 40th anniversary<\/strong> this year, making it the perfect moment for such a capsule.<\/p>\n

Housed in a former Parisian railway station, the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay is renowned above all for its Impressionist collections. It is only natural, then, that this painterly movement serves as the guiding thread of the collection. In total, 50 pieces<\/strong> spanning fashion<\/a> and home d\u00e9cor will be on offer.<\/p>\n

Women artists at the heart of the project<\/h2>\n

The collection does not limit itself to the movement’s most celebrated male figures. Certainly, masters such as Claude Monet, \u00c9douard Manet and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec are represented. But the capsule also deliberately shines a light on women painters.<\/p>\n

Works by Berthe Morisot and Eva Gonzal\u00e8s feature among the chosen motifs. The collection is also an opportunity to (re)discover the Belgian painter Anna Boch<\/strong>, a name less familiar to the general public. For art lovers, it doubles as an invitation to explore figures sometimes overlooked by art history.<\/p>\n

What the Monoprix x Orsay collection actually offers<\/h2>\n

The capsule spans two distinct worlds: wardrobe and home. On the fashion side, silhouettes play with floaty volumes, feminine lines and a revisited dandy aesthetic. The spirit of the late 19th century is reinterpreted for contemporary wear.<\/p>\n

    A retro mood as the d\u00e9cor’s guiding thread<\/h2>\n

    Beyond the painterly motifs, it is an entire atmosphere that Monoprix<\/strong> is seeking to recreate. A handful of rattan pieces complete the ensemble, anchoring the collection in a chic countryside aesthetic that feels at once nostalgic and thoroughly current.<\/p>\n

    The ambition of this capsule goes well beyond simply reproducing artworks on everyday objects.
