For the 2026 Journ\u00e9es du Patrimoine<\/a><\/strong>, the Maison \u00c9lys\u00e9e is throwing open its doors free of charge, with no reservation required, on 19 and 20 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Free, walk-in access in the heart of the 8th arrondissement<\/h2>\n

Situated directly opposite the presidential palace in the 8th arrondissement<\/a> of Paris<\/a><\/strong>, the Maison \u00c9lys\u00e9e spans 600 m\u00b2<\/strong> across two floors. For these heritage days, entry is completely free and no booking is needed. Doors are open from 10am to 7pm<\/strong> on both Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

This walk-in format is one of the standout features of this year’s 2026 Journ\u00e9es du Patrimoine<\/a>. It lets visitors plan their day however they like, with no strict time slots or advance tickets to worry about, a welcome freedom for anyone putting together a last-minute itinerary.<\/p>\n

The visit begins with the history of the H\u00f4tel d’\u00c9vreux, the building that today houses the \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace.
