The choice is anything but arbitrary, it says something precise about the way luxury<\/a> is reinventing itself right now.<\/p>\n

A \u20ac40 bottle that redefines what luxury desire looks like<\/h2>\n

There is something almost dizzying about paying \u20ac40<\/strong><\/a> for a product that literally has the word “laundry” in its name. And yet that is exactly the bet BDK Parfums<\/strong> has been making for several years with this line. The house takes the most repetitive, least glamorous gesture of everyday life and turns it into an openly coveted object.<\/p>\n

Concrete, long perceived as cold and impersonal, becomes here the starting point for an unexpected softness, almost domestic in feel, once it meets citrus and orange blossom.<\/p>\n

The olfactory construction follows an almost architectural logic, moving from the most volatile to the most structural. The top notes open with orange, bergamot, and mandarin. The heart rests on petitgrain and aldehydes. The base, meanwhile, is anchored in sandalwood and white musks. Each layer settles in progressively, like the strata of a building.<\/p>\n

The house’s press release speaks of the energy of Parisian architecture and concrete’s capacity to help architecture evolve.
