Les Créatrices en Rouje: Emily Marant signs a fashion exhibition

From April 23 to June 30, 2025, the Rouje brand is hosting an original exhibition orchestrated by curator Emily Marant, featuring red poetry and signature objects.
The color red has never been so vibrant. For Spring 2025, Rouje, the brand founded by Jeanne Damas, has teamed up with curator Emily Marant to present “Les Créatrices en Rouje”, an exhibition that brings together the worlds of contemporary design and fashion. Presented in Paris, Bordeaux and New York, this initiative brings together 16 women artists and designers in an intimate and audacious scenography.
Rouje, a visual tribute to female creativity
The exhibition explores red as an emotional and aesthetic thread. Each object on display, designed by a designer from the French or international scene, takes a unique look at the feminine. Among the talents featured: Lucie Sotty, Inès Mélia, Sarah Espeute, Laetitia Rouget and Janie Korn, known for her subversive pop creations.
Sculptural vases, embroidered textiles, blown-glass pieces, hybrid objects combining craft and narrative: design here becomes a natural extension of the Rouje universe, made up of assumed sensuality, mischievous elegance and carefully thought-out details.
Emily Marant: a curator in shades of red
Art director at the head of Studio Marant and co-founder of the French Cliché gallery, Emily Marant is a rising star on the French design scene. Collaborating with institutions such as the Palais de Tokyo and Collectible in New York, she weaves together objects, spaces and emotions in a resolutely curatorial yet accessible approach.
The staging of Rouje boutiques becomes a veritable playground. In Paris, Bordeaux and New York, the pieces blend into the decor while imposing their presence, as if they had always belonged to these places imbued with Parisian charm.
